Baby Shower

Tonight I hosted a baby shower for my friend Keely at work. She is having a baby boy in March, and I am so happy for her! We had a good turnout, and ate yummy food. I rented out my clubhouse, which turned out pretty nice because there was lots of room to sit and mingle. She got lots of cute baby boy outfits, which made me think back to Dallin when he was so small. Oh, and speaking of Dallin, today was so warm so we ventured outside for a few hours. There were so many other moms with their kids out, and he had a blast running around like crazy. He was so dead tired tonight. I cannot wait for this summer when we can play outside all day long.

Bubbles

The other day Dallin's uncle nate brough over some awesome HUGE bubbles. It was a very nice day, so we went outside and let him play with them. He thought it was the coolest thing ever. The bubbles were so big, and blew way up into the sky. Heres a few cute pics.

My little man

I went and got Dallin's 18 month pictures a few weeks ago, and here is one of the adorable poses we got. He is such a little boy. His cute 6 month old cousin Lyla came too, and we got some darling pictures of them together also. Sorry about the quality of this pic, I actaully took a picture of the picture... I know what you are thinking... but our scanner is not hooked up yet and I wanted to post this picture. Anyway, to update you on my little cutie pie... He is still talking like CRAZY. You will never believe this either. A few days ago, he was walking up the stairs to go see Papa and as he was crawling up them he decided that he was going to count to EIGHT. Yup that is right, EIGHT. I didnt believe my dad when he told me, but the next day he did it for me. Now he is out of control counting to eight. He is a genius. I am hoping to get a video of it soon so you all can see! On another note, his two year old molars are cutting through, so we are dealing with him not eating anything, and constantly drinking. (oh and not to mention his fingers constantly in his mouth). I cannot wait for the weather to warm up so we can go outside. My sister in law Lacy and I have taken the kids swimming indoors a few times and they love it. This summer will be so much fun with Dallin. Well until next post.

SHOW ME YOUR TEETH

Dallin's new thing is showing everyone his teeth. All you have to do is ask him and he poses just like these pictures. He is so funny! I especially love the drool rolling off of his chin. I thik his 2 year old molars are coming in.

5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Well when I am home, cereal or eggs. At work I have oatmeal

9. What type of car do you drive? Well in fact, I just recently purchased a new ride... an '08 Honda CRV. It is so fun!

12. Favorite item of clothing? gotta be the undershirt... I know but I could not live without one... it holds in the post baby fat
13. If you could go anywhere in the world for a vacation, where would you go? Well I have been a few awesome places, but have always wanted to go to Italy (like in Italian Job where they ride around town in boats)

15. Favorite place to shop for clothing? Well I think Old navy and Target (mainly because they are affordable)
16. Where will I retire? Well I am sure Andy would love to go somewhere on the beach so we will leave that up to him!
17. What was your most memorable birthday? I remember that Katie Hanna held a suprise party for me in her grandmas back yard when we were in high school.. that was fun

20. Are you a morning person or a night person? Neither. If I had to choose one, I am a morning person. Since Dallin was born I have been better at getting up earlier and actually it makes me feel better. I am usually in bed by 10 or 10:30 every night... I know... BORING

22. Pets? Ya right, do you know my husband. We did have a fish named moo, but he is no longer with us
23. What did you want to be when you were little? I always wanted to be a teacher, my dad wanted me to be an astronaut, but I knew deep don that I would do something in medicine (rescue 911 was my favorite show at 6 years old)
24. What are you today? An X-ray tech.. its a blast

New Car

Hello! So I am very excited to share with you all that I got a new car yesterday! It is an '08 Honda CRV (white) I am so happy, and now I can feel safer driving in all this crazy snow with my 4 wheel drive! We traded in my Mazda, so now we can hopefully have this car for many years to come. I will post a picture of it as soon as I get my butt outside in the cold to go take one! Well now time to go watch the superbowl! Go Pat's!
