2 year old pictures

So for Dallin's 2 year pics I found this cute lady who had great prices on proffesional pics. My sister in law Lacy and I decided to use her and split the sitting fee! Wow, what a great idea, plus we got the CD with all the negatives on it. I dont have the CD yet to post pics, but if you go to the photographers website she posted some ADORABLE pictures of Dallin and my neice Lyla! Check it out! I will post more when I get the CD.

Who needs the ocean?

We decided to spend the 24th up at Pineview Reservoir with Nate and Lacy, Jenny and Eric and Andy's mom. We had a blast and since we got up there around 10:00 we were one of the first people there and got a great spot on the beach. We bought one of those pop up shades so the kids would not fry (and us of course). The kids had a good time and loved sitting on the beach in the sand. They looked so cute. We packed lunches and just enjoyed the sun and cool water! Pineview is such a fun getaway even without boats. We decided next time we will have to rent wave runners because they looked way too fun! Here are some cute pics from the day!

Its been 4 years already....

So yesterday was our 4 year anniversary. We got married in the Salt Lake Temple on a beautiful day. It was so perfect. After the temple we had pictures until it was time for our luncheon that Andy's mom planned at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. That was so fun, and it was nice to get som food! Then we headed to our reception site called Castle Ridge Gardens. It is a huge house that they turned the back yard into a reception center because the owners were hardly there. It was GORGEOUS, with a waterfall, pond, pool with fountains, and grass. It actually closed because neighbors complained that it wasnt "zoned". We were one of only a few who were able to have their wedding there. Anyway, once we got there we held a ring ceremony which was nice. Then we had food for the guests while we did more pictures. After that the reception started and the guests started arriving. We greeted them for about an hour and then we had dancing which was way fun. Overall it was such a great day. I am so happy to be celebrating four wonderful years with my cute hubby. We have had such a great life so far, full of fun and ups and downs of course. We have such a beautiful son together which has been the greatest blessing!!! Hopefully we can have more little ones one day!!! Love you Babe!

A blast from the past

Memory Lane...
I got this from a friend Katie's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. Thanks!!

And the winner is....

Well it is official. Jesse is the winner of the bachelorette this year. For those who dont know, I am obsessed with that show. I dont know why, call me crazy, but I love watching the drama. I am so happy she chose Jesse, he was my favorite from the beginning. He was so "real" and just down to earth. They were so cute together, and now they are engaged and have a date set for next year. I think they will last for sure! Now the waiting begins till the next season!!

Splish Splash

Today Lacy, Jenny and I took the kids to the coolest splash park in Herrimin. I had never heard of such a thing, but was dying to find something fun for the kids. I had been wanting to go to the gateway and let Dallin play in the fountains, but it is always so crowded, and slippery. Jenny mentioned this so called "Splash park" so I thought we should check it out. It was AMAZING. Seriously, it was the best thing, and Dallin had such a ball. There were only like 7 other kids there, and the ground was not cement, it was some soft padding. There were all kinds of fun fountains and sprikler things that went off and on. I have never seen Dallin run around so much, he was so cute! Parker and Lyla were cute splasing around in the puddles too! So, for those mom's out there looking for something to do on these hot summer days, head out to Herrimin (its just on the border of Riverton, so its not too far out there). The best part about it is it is FREE! I didnt even have to get in my swim suit, I just sat on a bench and watched Dal run wild. Love it! Here's some cute pics!

Happy 4th of July

This year for the fourth, we headed over to Andy's parents neighborhood for their annual breakfast. This year was fun because Dallin was able to participate in the kids bike parade. He has loved his bike lately, and Andy was able to help push him around the block with the other kids. Of course he had to give his cousin Lyla a ride too! Those two are such a riot together! Later that night we headed off to Jordan High with Nate and Lacy, Jenny and Eric, and Andy's parent's for some great Sandy City fireworks! Dallin had a ball, and had to sit with his granddad the whole time! The kids (Dallin, Parker and Lyla) all did great, and as you can tell by the picture, Dallin loved "giving hugs" to them. Overall, it was a great 4th. (sorry about the order of the picture, I was too lazy to re arrange them)
